PPDS Planed order for Component dint removed after converting to Production Order

Hello All,

In CDP scenario , When Planned order converted to Production order, it converts successfully for Min item by order and component as well but for the Component the planned order not removed though the Production already there with Order Reservation The component having proper PDS in APO and also the sub component of this component having external procured type and it shows Dependent demand and Order reservation both together in RRP3 which reflect incorrect demand and supply situation .

Ideally for the 1st component the planned order should be removed and for the sub component the demand should show by order reservation element and Dependent demand .element should removed.

Also in CIF outbound of APO , error also show production order for 1st component unable to read master data for Production Version though it is very well maintained in ECC and APO

Please guide where i am doing mistake

Hello,

Please refer SAP note - 716122 - Read master data cannot be carried out in order XY

Use the user exit implementation proposed in this note to prevent the queue error from occurring. Using this solution, the master data is no longer read, but the order is still updated in the R/3 System, also if you want to modfiy the component you can do that too.

i ll check this NOTE but how about the other issue where Planned order for 1st component is not removed when Production order is there ?

I did not get your query, why d you want to remove the first component?

Is there substitute for that component?

If you share the screen shot of //RRP3 would be good to understand the basic setup.

The issue is when the Planned order for Main item converted to production order, then the component planned order also converted to Production order but the Planned still remain in RRP3, which shows incorrect demand and supply situation

And the Sub component of 100010 also shows 2 demand element like Dependent Demand And Order Reservation which is incorrect , ideally it shows only Order Reservation and dependent demand should be removed.

Please fin the attached screen shot for your reference.

I could not see two demand elements like Dependent Demand And Order Reservation.

As per second screen shot you have only a demand element as order reservation and two supply elements planned order and production order.

Ideally planned order should be removed after conversion to production order.

In ECC can you see the same planned order number 37321 inside the production order assignment tab.

Also if you run the CCR report for planned and production order does system shows any inconsistency?

and can it be corrected through CCR?

In ECC there is no Planned order 37321, only Production got cifed when converted to production order

Also tried with CCR but nothing worked out.

Also the screen shot for the 2 demand element for the Sub component of 100010 as shown below

above this product is externally procured , hence Preq created successfully but dependent demand should be removed when order reservation populated.

You tried with CCR but nothing worked out as this planned order will be there in MD04 too.

When you converted the planned order for main item converted to production order, then for the component created Production order as system does not converted planned order to production order. Other wise you will have the reference planned order in production order.

And that planned order remain in product view. If run the product heuristic on 100010 product will it delete excess supply?

Also check pegging of supply to find source of requirement.

2 demand element for the Sub component of 100010 which is due to excess planned order.
