PP/DS Optimizer and Material Time Fence

Hello,

I need help to correctly configure my Optimization Profile (Tcode S_AP9_75000086 - Maintain Optimization Profiles).

Our Optimization Horizon starts today until today+200 days.

How can we configure the Optimization Horizon in order to make it consider the Time Fence set up in the Products?

For example, this material has got 15 days of Time Fence. I want the Opztimizer doesn’t change anything from today until 15 working days.

Can you kindly help us?

Hi,

The PPDS optimizer will reschedule the orders inside the planning time fence , please check oss note 517426 - Planning time fence in optimization for the behaviour of planning time fence. If you do not want to change these orders, it would be better to use fixing intervals as a first step to fix the orders then perform the optimization and then you can remove the fixing intervals for that particular duration.
