Posting Change for Movement Type344 is not working ECC -> EWM

Hi EWM Gurus

I have created a Posting Change with Migo in order to change the Movement type 344 (TR blocked to unres.) in ECC and the same has been transferred to EWM.

However, the Blocked status indicator shows Red indication instead of Green.

I am unsure as to what is missing.

The error message: (also see Annex).
When I click on the "Validation" icon, I get the details.

Item was saved inconsistently. Msg Class: /SCDL/BO, Msg No. 46.
Could not find the source stock
Posting change could not be carried out

Kindly help me with this.

Hi,

ok, so what you have done is that you triggered a posting change in ERP with MIGO, this has created an outbound delivery in ERP, which was transfered to EWM and created a posting change delivery (document category SPC), but this one is blocked due to the above error.

In the document you should have a warehouse process type. Check this WPT, it probably has the setting for "Posting Change in Bin": (blank) Posting change always in storage bin.

That means that the system is trying to determine the bin of the stock in the posting change delivery. As often the WPT is used for the determination, there probably is no entry with this WPT in the storage type determination for the picking process (this is what is used technically).

Hi Juergen, That means storage type determination is mandatory for this post change, But our business want to manually create WT based on Post change , when there is no strategy for pick up ,inconsistant of post change is happening . How to handle this issue?
