Possibilities - Global Stock Reservation Process

Hello experts,

Currently we are working on a concept to harmonize and standardize our existing stock reservation processes with the target to define a global process - searching/ collecting the possibilities in R3 and also in view of S4 HANA.

The general requirements on a high level are

to Definition of a new transparent, effective and efficient global standard process

- Virtual Reservation instead of physical reservation

- Reservation type 1 - For a customer, a defined quantity, distributed over a defined period of time.

- Reservation type 2 - Defined safety stock/ quantity for customer will be reserved.

- Reservation type 3 - Defined quantity at a defined point in time

One of the key questions is, what are the possibilities for a stock reservation.
