Position with item category OPHU in the EWM delivery remains in the ECC queue with the error.

Hello everyone,

I’m facing the following issue: In the decentralized EWM, we create a packing item (OPHU), which is supposed to update the delivery in ECC by adding the new item upon confirmation. However, the data record gets stuck in the queue (ECC inbound) with the error "Item 0020 does not exist."

What puzzles me is that the new items are not listed in NEW_ITEM_DATA but rather under ITEM_DATA.

Can anyone help with this?

That is not the ECC doing anything, but the EWM. EWM is trying to post GI. Why would you want to create an item for the HU if not for posting GI?

OK, you can set the status profile in a way that a GM is not relevant - but again, why bother then to create the item?

We need to send the HU data to the ECC beforehand so that the delivery note can be printed. Of course, this message must not post the goods issue. I would have expected a change here, so the message sent to the ECC likely needs to be checked. The actual goods issue will be posted later.
