Position with item category OPHU in the EWM delivery remains in the ECC queue with the error.

Hello everyone,

I’m facing the following issue: In the decentralized EWM, we create a packing item (OPHU), which is supposed to update the delivery in ECC by adding the new item upon confirmation. However, the data record gets stuck in the queue (ECC inbound) with the error "Item 0020 does not exist."

What puzzles me is that the new items are not listed in NEW_ITEM_DATA but rather under ITEM_DATA.

Can anyone help with this?

Hi,

this error means that the system tries to post the goods issue - but it can't, because, as the message says, the item for the packaging material does not exist. 

What steps did you take in EWM? Recommendation: create new PDO, pick it, see that the new item is created in the PDO. Then create the FDO - but not by posting GI, but by using the button "create outbound delivery" on item level (best to use the tab HU in the PDO).

Then the system should create the item in the LE delivery. If this does not happen - check back here.

We just want to Send the HUs to Ecc before the goods Issue is done in EWM. So im wondering why the ECC should do a GI?
