PO reconfirmation in SNC

Hi Gurus,

I would like to restrict the number of re-confirmations from Vendor. I want to allow vendor to re-confirm 2 times (1 time initially & 1 more time) and restrict that with 2 weeks of time bound deadline also.

I brief, Vendor can send confirmation 2 times within 14 days of raising the PO.

Do we have any standard setting for this?

Hi Vaibhav,

For the first requirement of sending multiple confirmation, you need to do change the configuration to allow Vendor to over-write the confirmation.

In order to restrict the confirmation to 2, you need custom development.

Second part of your requirement is pure custom and will need you to write a code.

Though I have not faced exact requirement in past, but I can give you some pointer if you can elaborate more.

Hi Vaibhav,

Rahul Sharma has a valid for the first part where you can allow your suppliers to overwrite the confirmation schedule lines.

Related to second part of your requirement, we have developed a custom program before related to automatic confirmations.

In sumamry, your requirement requires both custom & standard solutions inside.
