Planning view not allowing 'Adj Prod Rcpt' key-figure.

Hi - I am trying to add 'Adjusted Prod Receipt' key-figure to my plant view with planning level at product / location. It gives me the below error. I have in fact tried also enhancing the planning level by including the source id as well but even that doesn't work. Any hints on where I am doing wrong?

Please note the values for the same KF are successfully getting uploaded by excel however - it's just that I am not able to keep it as part of the planning view so to look at the data.

Also, in this context, can I get the difference between using the key-figures 'Adjusted Prod interactive' and 'Adj prod receipt'?

ivan.andreis - can you please respond to this as I see this problem in 1802 across. I presume you should as well be receiving this error, I think we are forced to add the Adj Prod interactive instead. You may please confirm. Thanks,

Hi alecsandraghita, there is no help on the key-figure ADJUSTEDPRODUCTIONRECEIPT (Adjusted Production Interactive) and I am told to use this instead of ADJUSTEDRECEIPT (Adjusted Production Receipts) when checked with some consultants as to why I am not able to load the key-figure ADJUSTEDRECEIPT in my planning view - can someone please throw some light on both these key-figures?

Hi Guru,

It is hard to say, the easiest way to find out what is causing the issue on this case is by checking the log handle mentioned in the error message. However, this can be done only via an incident created on the Support Portal. Please could you create one with system details and template name and we will investigate further?

Hi ivan.andreis - What I see is that ADJUSTEDRECEIPT (Adjusted Production Receipts) is not editable. And the editable key-figure that can serve my purpose in this case is ADJUSTEDPRODUCTIONRECEIPT (Adjusted Production Interactive). I don't see any documentation of the interactive key-figure anywhere, I am only looking at how these are related and is it so that SAP by intention has forced to not allow the viewing of the key-figure ADJUSTEDRECEIPT (Adjusted Production Receipts) in the planning view? It would be of much help if you can throw some light on these two key-figures. Thanks,

Hello Guru,

Adjusted production interactive is designed to make manual changes in production receipts from excel UI.

It ultimately goes into Adjusted production key figure as you can see in the calculation. The only reason changes is not made directly from Adjusted production is because it also considers frozen horizon. Within this period, you can fix production receipts through MINPRODUCTION key figure(this can be understood by looking at the adjusted production calculation)

I am having trouble understanding this expression, can you please brief this please? Also, I have tried to add this KF on two instances not just of mine - so I am starting to think maybe this's the case with any 1802 version. Can you please do a check from your side as well and confirm if you are able to add this KF in your planning view? There's no help on the interactive key-figure as well, so can you please check with your team if a KBA can be released?

Hello Guru,

As per the expression, from current period + Frozen horizon duration, adjusted production takes value from Minimum production unless there is no interactive adjustment. Beyond that only interactive adjustment in considered, if any.

The error you get seem to be related to some incorrect syntax within the calculation. Can you check the detail log in Application logs tile after reproducing the error by adding this key figure in planning view.

Hi Guru,

This problem might be due to the the cycle in the calculation. If the cycle (repeated calculation) is there system will give this error, also you are able to see all other key gifures in the planning view except this Am I corret?

Could you please check the formula for the key figure by clicking on "f", , here it will show is there any cycle in the calculation.

I don't think there's a cycle in the calculation logic, please check the formula anyways,

Actually, I think this's the case with any system not just with me. Can you please try from your side and confirm back if that's the case with you as well (that you are not able to have this KF in the planning view)?
