Hi,
I noticed it seems impossible to create a Planning Object via the ("New Planning Object..." button in) Excel Add-In, in case there exists no relevant underlying Master Data in the Master Data Type (same values for Key Attributes, as the values of the Planning Object) corresponding to your planning level.
However, via the Manage Planning Objects application in Fiori, we are able to force the creation of the same Planning Object.
Is this intended behavior by SAP?
We are looking at possible development of Planning Object creation via either CPI, or via custom VBA scripting in Excel Add-In, and therefor are wondering whether for example custom VBA scripting will allow us to force the creation of the Planning Object in a similar way as the "Manage Planning Objects" application in the web interface seems to do; or even auto-create necessary underlying Master Data.
