Planning notes length limit and number of KF

Dear IBP colleagues,

My customer has few questions regarding planning notes limitation.

1). Number of key figures that planning notes can be enables is 40.

Question: Do we have a way around this?

2). Also I did not see anywhere where there is a limitation on the overall length of planning notes.

Question: Is there an upper limit on characters?

Ad 1)
Reading planning notes for many key figures can have a significant negative impact on performance. Therefore planning notes should only be enabled if really needed. To make this clear, SAP does does not allow to enable planning notes for more than 40 key figures. In planning processes, such as planning views, for example, the system can read planning notes for up to 20 key figures. These limits cannot be changed by customers for the described reason.

Ad 2)
Planning notes can be up to 1000 characters long.
