Plannig by arrival date-time (not unloading)

As we know, in FU we can set , through time window condition. That is, we can set time limits for the start of loading at the initial stop and the end of unloading at the final.

I want to plan FU not by end date\time of unloading, but by the end date\time of arrival.

How I can configure or set some data for that planning?

So I understand that 12:00 is the requested delivery date, then your /SCMTMS/TOR_TIMEWIND condition shall be as this:
Earliest stay = 0
Earliness = 2 Hard Constraint

This way you tell the system that the FU can't be delivered before your requested date.
the lateness parameters shall consider the unloading duration. But make sure that Delayed stay is = 0 and Lateness calculated with 1 or 3, depending on your requirements.

In order to force the system to arrive with the customer as per requested, you can consider a relevant lateness planning cost that, according to the lateness calculation configuration, will start to count as soon as the delivery starts to be different from the requested delivery date.

If you don't want to be so closed with the early delivery, you may also apply the earliness cost as it was already mentioned with the lateness.

hope this helps.

I understand that your unloading time is irrelevant, this would mean that you could set your unloading time per FU to 0, run a backward planning and calculate your accepted Start/End time windows to be the same as the requested date, this way you will force the system to arrive at the requested time.
not sure if this cover all your requirement, if there is something left uncovered, please provide more details of your scenario.

Thanks for you answer!

We have the following scenario: the recipient of the material says that the vehicle should arrive at 12:00 (for example). This time is transferred to the DTR and then inherited to the FU as a time window. Separately, we know that at this location the unloading time is 1 hour and we set it in the planning profile.

For different consumers, the required arrival time is different and is maintained in the ERP system, in delivery. Unloading time also differs from consumer to consumer and is maintained at the planning profile level in TM.

VSR optimizer planning this for the date-time from FU adjusting the end time of unloading, that is, in the freight order we have the following:

  • arrival time 11:00
  • unloading end time 12:00

In the target scenario, it is necessary to adjust the arrival time FO to the date-time from FU, that is, I would like to see:

  • arrival time 12:00
  • unloading end time 13:00
