Planned Price & Standard Unit Cost Not Visible Beyond 2 Years in Planning Views

Hello SAP Community,

I’m facing an issue in IBP where the key figures Planned Price and Standard Unit Cost are fully loaded for the next three years. I can see the data in the Master Data Workbook, but in the Planning Views (both in Excel and the Planner Workspace), the data is only visible up to two years in the future.

Other key figures in the planning area are displayed correctly for the full planning horizon. I have already tried extending the periods for attributes as key figures:

  • EXCHANGERATE: Set to 36 months

  • Unit of Measure Conversion: Set to 36 months

  • Cost per Unit: Set to 156 weeks

Despite this, I still cannot see Planned Price and Standard Unit Cost beyond two years. Additionally, if I try to manually enter data beyond that point and save, the data is not retained.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or can you suggest what else might be limiting the visibility of these key figures beyond two years?

Thanks in advance!

Are you perhaps missing key figure values for the missing time period values for UOM or currency conversions in your planning levels? For example, MTH | Prod | UOM | UOMTO or MTH | PROD | CURR | CURRTO?

Hello @SCM_exp

It seems to be an issue with the conversion when trying to visualize the data in the Planning Views (You can see data in the Mater Data Workbook but not in the Planning Views).

As you have changed the configuration for the Attribute As Key Figures (extended the horizon), you will need to reupload their values in the Master Data workbook (clear the values and then upload it again) so the data gets propagated correctly.

In your case, you will need to clear the values for the Attribute As Key Figure (UOMCONVERSIONFACTOR and EXCHANGERATE), then upload the values again.

Best regards,

Hi @SCM_exp ,

did you also reload the master data for EXCHANGERATE and UoMCONVERSION after having extended the periods? The data only gets propagated to the respectively added from/to periods after data load.
