Hello Gurus,

I am new in S4 HANA PPDS and find that Planned Orders created in APO are not transferred to S4. I have done the config for 'Global Parameter & default values' for ' Transfer to R/3 In house production' as ' Always Crete Transfer events (default) . ref, attached screenshot.

Planned orders created in S4 side are transferred to APO.

Am I missing any key configuration or any other set up. Please suggest.

Hello,

Orders generated in ePPDS will not be transferred to standalone APO system. Please refer information in SAP note 3073717 where this restriction is mentioned.

3073717 - General Restrictions and Implementation Recommendations for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA 2021

“Integration of orders generated out of "Standalone SCM-APO" to PP/DS for SAP S/4HANA or vice versa is not supported.”

According to Note - 2376061, Certain versions of "Standalone APO" running side by side with SAP S/4 HANA are supported.

Thanks,

Hi Nirmalya,

Please try and run the program /SAPAPO/PPDS_DELTA_ORD_TRANS and then check if the new orders are getting transferred. When you run the CCR are the queues getting generated ? If yes, In case you have activated post processing, you can also check in the post processing log what kind of errors are being generated. In case post processing is not activated you would need to check the error queues. If no queues are generated, this is an issue with publication settings. Please check the OSS note 2712349 - Best practices for implementation of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling for SAP S/4HANA 1709 and 1809.

This shall give you the basic customizing steps that are required. Kindly validate your settings with this.

I hope this helps.

Sasi

Hi Nirmalya,

Can you check if the queue is registered in SMQR, if not, register the queue C*

Also what is the error code you are seeing in //CCR for the planned orders?

Ninad

Hi Nirmalya,

Post maintaining that you would need to recreate the orders and see. Also please check if you have any stuck queues and when you run CCR what is the error messages you are getting. Please attach screen shots of both rrp3 and md04 post completion of all these steps and a step by step screen shot of what you are doing.

Hi Sasi,

After I run CCR , created planned orders in APO side transfer to S4 side and reflected in MD04. But My question is why it is required every time to run CCR to transfer Planned orders from APO side to S4 side. I have checked all the points what you had mentioned before. Am I still missing anything ?

Hope it clarifies.

Hi Nirmalya,

Have you maintained relevant entries for inhouse production in the transaction /sapapo/cp1 ? Post maintaining it you should be able to see the orders.

Hi Sasi,

Thanks for your reply. I did maintain the setting for 'Inhouse Production' but still the orders created in APO side do not get transferred to S4 side. Ref. attached screenshot.2020-11-10-15-53-16-change-view-maintenance-view-f.png

Hi Sasi,

Thanks for your reply. That Configuration is in Place. ref. attached screenshot. Planned orders created by MD11 it is transferred to RRP3 view. But if any Planned orders area created in APO side those are not transferred to S4 Side that is the main problem

By running the CCR program , these Planned orders can be pushed to S4 Side but automatically these Planned orders are not transferred from APO --> S4 Side

Hi Nirmalya,

Could you please check if you have configured "Settings for Data Transfer". SPRO-->Advance Planning-->Basic Settings-->Settings for Data Transfer. Please make sure the planned orders check box is selected. From my perspective all the objects which are required to be transferred needs to be selected.

Kindly perform this configuration check the orders if required perform a reconciliation /sapapo/ccr and ideally you should have orders replicated.

Please confirm once these activities are performed.
