Planned and process order in PP/DS that has order duration time independent from order quantity

Hello experts,

We have a scenario where from semi finished goods products we have some steps, for example fermentation, that lasts 20 days, independent of the quantity of product in this process, 1 kilo or 1 ton.

Do you know how can I module this inside PP/DS? This material has a recipe.

Hello,

It is same like the setup time which is independent of any quantity, if you have setup time as 10 hrs it will remain same for an order of 10 PC or 10,000 PC. So if you look at the formula of setup it is constant without any multiplication of operation quantity.

Same way you can define the formula and assign it to resource and in recipe maintain duration as 20 days.

Then it will work as you expected.

CIF the Production version and then check PDS and order duration for that operation.
