Hello Experts,
I have a scenario, where business wants to have specific products to be processed quicker in EWM...
Quicker term indicates - When the wave is released, only these specific product picks should get priority in picking queue..
So, only those products can be picked first & processed first.
There is an option to define wave template time attribute, where we can use pick start, pick completion, cut-off times.. However, how can I achieve only for specific products? product level picking priority?
Any solution would really help me, thank you !!

Oh, there are so many things to that... But the field priority is the last one you should look into.
Your question sounds as if it is always the same material / products?
What gets picked first? Assuming you work with RF and WOs are assigned automatically, what is picked first is what is in your first queue. So the first thing to look into is how you can determine a queue and what options you have there.
The fields for the queue determination are source / destination activity area, access type, warehouse process type and activity. Warehouse process type, activity and therefore also the source activity are connected. The WPT can be determined using the WPT control indicator, which is in the warehouse products (this is what Daniil described). So this would be the first choice.
Next: if all WOs are in the same queue, the sorting is done by latest start date. The latest start date is determined by calculating backwards from the planned goods issue date of your PDO or the planned pick end date of your wave template. In the extract time calculation you can use a “product load category” for the calculation. But that would mean that you would have to give a longer time calculated for the other products. Which can be done without having to assign a category for the other products, but in case you have a small WO for a low priority product and a big WO for a high priority product, it could be an undesired result.
But as I wrote above and you wrote as well, you have a pick completion time in the wave template. You can define a wave template with an earlier completion time than other templates and determine the wave template with product related information. Either by the product itself – which is ok if you do not have too many of these products, as otherwise you need to maintain a lot of condition records. Or you need to see what else from the product can be used. The pre-defined field catalog does not really offer something from the standard control indicators I can see right now, but of course it can be extended. There is a field “Item Indicator”, which I don’t know where this comes from. And “Wave Priority” – which is set in the PDO, but I also do not know where this comes from. You can already use the WPT, so if you determine this one product specific, it can be continued to be used in the wave template determination.
From the wave template you can also use the “mode” to round the latest start date, otherwise there is a special activity category indicator, which can be used to determine a special activity – which in turn can be used in the queue determination. Don’t know why you would want to do that…
And then, if you have your WOs in the same queue, and if they have the same latest start date – only then the priority in the WO is being used. Which again is calculated by various things, but none of it is directly product related. The nearest again would be the WPT.

Hi, what comes in my mind first - it is a difference process indicator in material master and different process type based on it, and you can run special separated process for such products.
