Hi all. can anyone explain the below scenario?
I am picking a pallet from the storage type. Whenever the order quantity is equal to the pallet quantity it directly goes to the GI area, whenever the order quantity is less than the pallet quantity it needs to go to the work center, and there I need to break the pallet and move the required quantity to GI area.
To achieve this above process what configuration do I need?
Hi,
for this you use a pick point.
And with LOSC you control that full pallets are not moving via the pick point.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Thanks Daniil for your response . I have set up the customizing as you have mentioned. losc.pngsource-storage-type-setting.png

Hello Murali
Did your problem get solved?
I am facing the similar issue. In my case, WTs were created correctly with correct destination bin, but when I confirm with RF the LOSC triggered for WT (where fill pallet should go to GI zone) and Pick point bin get reflect as destination bin in RF. If I confirm the same WT on desktop, it works fine.
As per screenshot complete Pallet (10 EA = 1 Full Pallet) should go to GI Zone directly as per WT 10001012 and 10001013. When I confirm this WT on RF the destination bin comes as Pick point as LOSC triggered.
LOSC - ZV82 is pick point st Type.
This is an issue in RF picking only, in normal WT confirmation systems determined destination bin correctly as GI Zone.

Hi,
the problem is that the LOSC entries are just the wrong way around for what you want.
First of all the flag "Pick Point" in LOSC... does nothing. At least not that I ever found out that something happens. The important flags are in the source storage type "Pick point is used" and the storage type role B or C for the pick point.
With the selection "A Partial Removal - Product Warehouse Task" for the "Whole HU" column you control that only partial HUs move via the pick point. And you do not make any entry for "C complete HU" (means, this line is not relevant, leave it out!).

Hello Juergen,
Thanks for your reply. I have created one detailed blog document to configure the process to achieve below business requirement.
Please go through the blog document if you get a chance and see the test result along with configuration setup I have done.
The blog is under review now. ( https://blogs.sap.com/2023/02/17/ewm-pick-point-for-full-and-partial-pallet/)
The basic requirement is to bring full pallets to GI zone directly and only that pallet should go to Pick point work Center which is to be repacked into new HU (as the qty is less than full pallet qty) and also send back the remaining pallet to new storage type which managed only partial pallet.
I have mentioned everything in the blog document. I will be happy if you go through this document and send your opinion. I am happy to correct it.

Hello Juergen ,
I am also working on same business requirement.
But in my case LOSC that controls that full pallets to not move via pick point is not working.
For both Full pallet and Partial pallet a pick product wt is created to move HU from source storage type to Packing bin.
While confirming the pick task in RF the LOSC gets triggered in both the scenarios and destination bin is dynamically changed to Intermediate work centre bin .
I have maintained the configuration as suggested in another thread https://answers.sap.com/questions/13088296/losc-with-partial-picking-1.html.
May you please guide what i would be missing.
