Pick HU for 2 step Picking

The pick HU create twice for 2 step picking. 2steps.png

The second step not taking HU from storage type 2010. The picking strategy point to storage type 2010 yet it still taking from source . WT show the storage type and bin correct for WP 2010 yet it take stock from storage type high rack instead of interim storage type 2010. This cause stock minus twice. Detail in attach. Not sure why not taking HU in 2 stepz zone ? Need your help. Thanks

you need to set up the storage type search sequence determination for the second step as described here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/2020.002/en-US/4f4c0f1befea13ade1000000....

The important part is "The stock removal strategy for the second picking step must find the storage type of the intermediate storage section. You control this by setting the 2 indicator for two-step picking in Customizing for the storage type search sequence."

Additionally you need to define the search optimization. The search with the "2 step" must always come first.
