Permission filter to User security role.

Hi,

While restricting user profile in SAP IBP system using permission filters same restriction is applied at Business role. However it is not clear that their is any connection between SAP IBP permission filters and Maintain Business role.

Applied restriction on two KF's which is not working.

Kindly suggest me best way to restrict user write access on specific KF's and on the planning attributes.

Hi,

You should assign permission filters and business role restrictions correctly. If those are conflict then you will not get the required access to users.

Example:

User has no restrictions in business then you can apply permission filters based on requirement.
