TIme profile data is uploaded without any error.
I tried uploading a file with jus one record and for that record I copied the date from the time profile file, still getting the same error.

Hi,
I think problem is due saving in CSV file format.
whichver format i use
YYYY-MM-DD
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss
while saving i get a pop sayin some format might be lost due to csv.
After saving -> closing -> reopening file ->format is lost.

Thanks Vivek.
We tried one more thing which resolved the error.
As in IBP5, SAP3 is defined at Daily weekly and monthly level, we created time profile file for daily weekly so on and uploaded it and then uploaded the KFs, we were able to do it successfully.
Till last week we were working on IBP4 in which SAP3 was at weekly, monthly level. Hence we continued with the same files on IBP5 too. We didn't get any error when we uploaded the time profile file with weekly n monthly data. So thought omitting daily data is not an issue.
But a new problem has cropped up now. After uploading the time profile and KFs in IBP5 successfully, when we tried loggin into the excel addin we get an error saying
'Bad request. Cannot get data for the time bucket'
Any suggesstions?
Prabha
Hi Prabha,
The error - "PERIODID is missing for the KEYFIGUREDATE provided" comes when the keyfigure date provided in the CSV file doesn't falls in the range of the Time Profile selected in the Planning Area for which upload is being done.By going through the screenshot you have provided,it looks OK.But are you sure the same time profile has been uploaded to the system and not any other file.Is it possible for you to upload the time profile once again and then try uploading KF data.
Regards
Avijit

HI Prabha
sometimes the date format is lost with excel csv file.
see if this helps
highlight the date format in the KF file and format the cells as custom.
the format being YYYY-MM-DD
save and retry.
