PDS transfer using curto create

Hello,

What are the differences in PDS transfer if we have the following settings:

1) Transfer Deletion Flag only

2) Change Transfer only

3) If both Transfer Deletion Flag and Change Transfer are active.

How to send only the changes to APO PDS without having any wrong impact.

Hi,

1) Transfer Deletion Flag only

If ERP material set deletion flag in then deletion flag transfer to APO.

2) Change Transfer only

If you set this indicator, production data structures are transferred (from the ERP system of SAP) to SAP APO only if the master data on which they are based has been changed since the last transfer.

Changes to the production version, BOM, routing, object dependencies, and the classification of class nodes are taken into account.

3) If both Transfer Deletion Flag and Change Transfer are active.

Based on selection parameters all master data changes transfer to APO.

The following transaction codes used to transfer ERP PDS master data to APO syste.

1. CURTO_CREATE or CURTO_CREATE_BOM can be used to transfer the changes in PDS or BOM PDS.
2. Alternatively, report CUSLNTRTO_CIF_REPORT or CUSLNTRTO_CIF_MAST can be scheduled to transfer such changes regularly.

Use both these options, Transfer Deletion Flag and Change Transfer also set ignore faulty CIF queues option

Or you can use the automatic change transfer functionality please refer SAP note 1623443 - Automatic Transfer of BOM, Routing and Production Version to SCM APO

Hello,

I am trying to create a PDS with PEO Materials (Shopfloor routing and a versioned BOM). As the curtoadv_create supports this feature i am still getting uncomplete PDS structure where as the activity and the components are missing. It seems that the plan type is still being routing where it should be shop floor routing. Can anyone help me further?
