PDS activity SETUP assignment to valuation for blockplanning

Dear experts,

I configured Blockplanning in Advanced Production (S4/HANA) in combination with the Setup matrix, which is working fine except for one thing:

In Routing, I assigned class-type 018 to the operation. The Operation is setup-time and machine time. How ever, when I create a PDS from the production version with this routing, only the Activity of activity type P (produce) is valuated for blockplanning. With the result that the setuptime is scheduled in the incorrect (predecessor) block. I would like to have the setuptime in the correct (same) block as the production activity. Can you advice me about the valuation for blockplanning for activitytype S in the PDS?

Hi Wojciech,

Thank you for reply. Indeed, in most cases, the setup activity will start in the new block. So, also the setupactivity (only once, at the start of the new block) should be assigned to the same block as the Activity 'Produce. I will check the BADi you mentioned.
