Hi all!
I got two points:
1. I have a question regarding the partial qty putaway process in a bulk storage storage type. We use embedded EWM and it is not allowed to store partial pallets in a special bulk storage storage type.
There is a setting, "partial qty allowed" for the bulk storage. How does the system knows that my qty is a partial qty?
Is this only possible with packaging specifications or can I define the "full" qty of a pallet in an another way? I saw in the documentation https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/4fc0104a76ac209de10...
that you can use Standard-HU - Type qty instead of packaging specs. Where is the setting in the system to assign qty to a HU-Type?
If I use packaging specs is it also necessary to use two level specs?
Thanks a lot!
Regards
Daniel
Request clarification before answering.
it is a quantity classification, you have different UoM in the material master, and you can define in SPRO that PAL belongs to the Pallet group in EWM part: "Master data -> Product -> Define Unit of Measure Attributes"
