Partial Picking in SAP EWM

Dear Experts,

We have the below requirement.

• The source bin has boxes of 1000 PC each.
• Each 1000 PC box contains smaller boxes of 200 PC each.
• The source HU or batch is not determined during WT creation.
• User chooses a random HU/batch during WT confirmation.
• If there is a requirement of 300 PC, a full smaller box (200 PC) and a partial smaller box (100 PC) are removed. The removed stock is transferred to a pick HU.
• Expectation is to transfer the partial quantity(100) to a smaller pick HU and then transfer the full as well as partial smaller HUs (200+100) into the pick HU.

Is this possible ? Kindly share your thoughts.

Hi Mageshwaran Sivasamy,

In my opinion, this is possible in standard. Quant plays important role in these kind scenario (Putaway+Picking).

-> quant/AUOM should be small boxes

-> Use PACK Spec to split into 2 WTs, 1 WT is for 200 (1 Big Box),2 WT is for 100
