Partial goods receipt in eWM then system is not creating inbound delivery automatically for open qty

If we do partial goods receipt in eWM then system is not creating inbound delivery automatically for remaining quantity. We have to manually create inbound delivery for remaining quantity.

I am using Process code I002 in embedded S4 HANA 2020 version. I didnt find any note suggesting that this does not work in embedded EWM only work in decentralized ewm .

We have one SAP note 2819209 - Using O002 and I002 process codes in EWM. It has some information in solution. I am pasting inbound delivery part b and Note.

• Using process code I002 in Inbound Deliveries:
   
   
  Option B) If you click Process Codes - With Quantity Adjustment first, then the difference can be set manually.
   
  
   
  When saving the changes, the system will create a new Inbound Delivery in EWM. To find it easily, navigate to the Inbound Delivery Notification screen, select the IDN document and navigate back to the Inbound Delivery screen.

Note:

• In S/4HANA Embedded EWM versions, elimination of outbound delivery requests and inbound delivery notifications implicitly means that Process Code O002 works as O001 and I002 works as I001.
• In SAP EWM 9.5 and S/4HANA Decentralized EWM systems, system can be configured to skip reqest documents. If request documents are skipped, the process codes will work like in S/4HANA Embedded EWM (see previous point).

Hello Rashid,

Yes I have seen this note.It says I002 behave as i001 in embedded version.

Does this mean in embedded version we don't have the simple functionality of creating inbound delivery based on Partial Goods receipt in ewm?

We have lost the functionality in embedded version which exists in decentralised ewm.i am unable to understand that.

Hi Arjun 

As per note It means the same that we dont have this option in embedded ewm. I would advise you can check by SAP support. Mentioned that 1002 is not working in  embedded ewm. they will confirm it
