Parcel Shipment error "convertion failed; type 3000 not valid for this process"

Dear friends
I've been setting up the process for parcel shipment from a shipper point of view:

I've done the following settings for DSO:
a) FU Customizing:
Direct Shipment Option Type: A - Automatic Determination of Direct Shipment Options
Carrier Selection Settings: CDX_PARCEL
Carrier Selection Condition: blank
Direct Shipment Strategy: DSO DEF
DSO Result Rule: Convert to Freight Order for Direct Shipment

b) FO Type Customizing:
I'm using the standard type 3000
I'm follwing the process described in this link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_tm93/helpdata/en/1c/4d3852a5f96960e10000000a423f68/frameset.htm
1.- Create DTRs
2.- Creation of parcel shipments
3.- Determination of direct shipment options

4.- Selection of an option and assignment to a parcel freight order (in the help says it is done running the batch report /SCMTMS/DIRECT_SHIPMENT_BATCH but I only found /SCMTMS/DSO_BATCH - Convert FUs for Direct Shipment )
here is were I have problems because the result of this execution is an error as I get "DSO convertion failed; type 3000 not valid for this process"

If I leave the field in blank the FO Type selected is Rail
What I'm I doing wrong?

Thank you William, the documentation says FO Type 3000 is for parcel shipment and it has 08 Star-shaped based on FU Stages.

Should I create a new FO Type?

FO type 3000 will not work - you need a unique FO type - stop sequence has to be star-shaped.
