Page format for Pallet Label - BAR Code SSCC

Hi Experts,

i have a requirement to create pallet label on smartform.

my requirement is a 4 by 6 inches label to be printed for pallet . Please let me know if i have to specify a page format (other than default  DINA4).

Please share any information on this. Even the configuration to set up the pallet label smartform (HULabel).

Hello Tashi,

For HU Label , create a new PAGE FORMAT with respective dimensions .

After Page Format is created add that into FORMAT TYPE.

After adding to FORMAT TYPE , choose the DEVICE type which you want and add this new Page FORMAT there .

Techinical Discription :

Step 1 : Goto SPAD -> click on Full Administration above -> click on DEVICE TYPE tab.

Step 2 : Click the display button of PAGE FORMATS first -> Click the edit button than -> you will see create icon there (or SHIFT + F1) .

Step 3 : Enter the new format name ,check - Portrait / Landscape ,provide the dimensions (4x6 inc) & save it .

Step 4 : Click the display button of FORMAT TYPES-> Click the edit button than -> you will see create icon there (or SHIFT + F1) . Create new Format Type ( give same name as given for Page format) .Select Type as - "Format type of SAPscript" ->  Select your new page format ->Check the orientation ( portrait / landscape).

Step 5 : Choose your device type in which you need to print the label ( eg. Zebra printer / laser printer) and hot display  -> click the above FORMATS icon -> Click edit button ->create icon there (or SHIFT + F1) -> Enter your format type name and click ok -> save it.

Step 6 : Use this device type to your printer : click the Device/ Servers tab as shown in above image . Click the display of Output Device -> choose your printer in which you want to print HU label (Double clik on that ) -> select your respective Device type.

Please follow the above steps , creating of new page format  , adding that into format type , adding that type into device type.
