Packaging view in dsplay mode in Product Master

Hello Experts,

I am trying an Inbound scenario wherein I am creating a HU in Inbound delivery in ECC side and sending it to EWM.

But in SMQ2 i find the error log which says the packaging material is missing HU type.I am unable to maintain HU type in Packaging view in Product Master as it is in display mode.

Can someone please let me know why is the view in display mode.

because you have to maintain the material master (not the product master)?

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

Thanks Juergen.After maintaining HU type in Material Master in ERP side the error got resolved.

Where in material master did you maintain the HU type in material master?? I maintained under WM execution of material master but that populated standard HU type in Product not the HU type. Still getting the issue during HU creation.

This has been resolved. I had to manage it under WM packaging view in material master not WM execution view
