Packaging material is creating a new line item in delivery

Hello,

When I am packing items of delivery then a new line item is created in delivery for the packaging material. I do not want this packaging material to be created as new item in delivery. I checked the delivery type configuration in transaction OVLK for the standard delivery type LF which I am using and here the control field is already unchecked which means it is correct but still it is not working.

Here is the order I created only one item

Here I created delivery and see the document flow.

Now I did packing with the packaging material 111, then a new line item added in delivery with line number 900001

So, please suggest what are the settings to be done that a new item not created for packaging material.

Hello,

We solved this issue. Actually there was an item category determination present in the system for packaging material. We deleted this line and it's working now. No packaging material is showing as new line in delivery.

Please check in delivery whether the material is batch managed. Normally, for batch managed material only, there will be two line items in delivery and the POSNR would 10 for one line item and 9****1 for batch allotted line item
