Dear Experts,
We have a requirement in SNP deployment to prioritize stock transfer based on order type/Category. The requirement is to fulfill the Purchase order's(Firm Demand) first and then to fulfill the heuristic generated demand on supply location).
Can please advise how the above requirement can be achieved.

Ashwin

Dear Ashwin,
SNP Deployment heuristic aggregates the planned distribution by bucket meaning all planned distribution to a certain destination in a bucket are summed and considered as one distribution demand in the downstream deployment process. The real underlying orders and categories are unknown, consequently it will not be possible to prioritize by the category of the planned distribution.
There might be two solution approaches to be explored in more detail if really feasible:
1) execute SNP deployment in two steps. Use a planning area in which the deployment input key-figure only contains the high priority demand categories and execute deployment for it. Repeat this for another planning area in which only the low priority demand categories are assigned.
2) use SNP Deployment Optimizer and assign different non-delivery cost so the high priority demands would cause higher non-delivery costs.
