I am looking for a way to adjust the confirmed date in a sales order based on the freight orders. The goal is to ensure that the production is completed as close to the loading date as possible. Production is driven by the sales order and its confirmed date.
The idea is to plan freight orders based on the sales orders in TM and then use this information to adjust the confirmed date in the sales order accordingly. Which would then influence production.
Is this possible? Is Advanced TM necessary? Would there be a more advisable approach to achieve this?
