Optimizer: Communication Error: Error Calling the Engine

Hi All,

We are getting Optimizer: Communication Error: Error Calling the Engine while running optimizer for Particular Optimizer Model.

We have 6 Optimizer models, 5 models are completed but only 1 model is failing due to Optimizer: Communication Error: Error Calling the Engine.

Optimizer: Communication error: Error calling the engine: An.

Message no. /SAPAPO/SNP505

Optimizer has input as Planner codes.

Anyone faced this issue in Optimizer?

2026548 - Communication error while creating transportation orders

1570496 - SNP Optimizer: /sapapo/snp505 when using scrap

Hi Rahul,

I implemented the Suggested above note and SAP also suggested same note but still we are getting same error.

SAP analyzed the issue and saying it i an exception causing an Communication Error but they also not able find exact root cause.

We are also still finding the root cause....

Hi All,

ABAP team debug the code and got below error.

Error calling the engine: An exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause

Does anyone got such error?

Any idea which conversion this is?
