Hi All,
If we have multiple deliveries are on single freight booking document and if we want to container ids per delivery document in Freight booking document how to map them .
if we have given 10 containers in the Freight booking document general data then user should be able to provide 10 container numbers in the items tab of Freight booking document, then in that how to provide mapping for which container id belong to which delivery document is associated .
Please confirm on the same.
Thanks

Hi Kumar,
as already indicated by Jerry. If your delivery will already be container sized. You could directly create e.g. Container Units instead of Freight Units out of the freight unit builder and plan than on the booking than.
This can be achieved by setting the target document type in your freight unit building rule to a container unit type instead of a freight unit type.

Emanuel

Hi Kumar,
Normally, if you want to trace each container separately, you can model them as separate lines/documents in FU/CU, this can be achieved via freight unit building rule. Based on this, the container number can be maintained per FU item and traced separately.
Best Regards.
Jerry.

Can you please provide more technical details how to make association between container number to delivery document number in Freight booking document.
For example we have 10 deliveries and 10 Freight units as one to one mapping, and i have assigned 10 FUs in one Freight booking document then how I make association between container ids and FUs , so that user can identify which delivery is associated to which Freight unit document in Freight booking document.
We are using S4 2021 embedded system,
Is there any place holder that user can enter container number in the delivery document as standard.
Thanks
Kumar
