OBP Planning infinite Run

Hello,

in OBP I have a finite Heurisitc and Optimizer. But how can I change the quantitiy of the production if I want plan inifite.

Give it a key figure, wich I can overwrite the result of the Heurisitc run and furthermore der result in s4 (e.g. Plauf is my overwrite value )

Hi,

Using settings in planning run profile you can run the OBP finite heuristic with infinite capacity.

Hi Oliver,

You can also enable flexible planning start and run heuristic with planning start date in past. This makes priority heuristic run in infinite mode. Refer below webinar by SAP for more details.

Hi Lingaiah,

you are right.

sometimes I have to plan infinit. That means, that for a ressource I need 110% capacity.

If I plan this with the infinit heuristic, I get not relocation orders . So how can I plan ith infinit heurisitc and than with the deployment run in order based planning that I have a the end in the s4 system the relocation order.

Hi,

SAP IBP OBP supports planning algorithm "Finite Heuristic" and "Optimizer" to generate the optimal supply plan.

You can run time series supply heuristic to generate infinite plan.
