NVE number and setup in EWM

Hi,

I am new in EWM, I have a question regarding NVE number range.

Do we need to use NVE number range for HUs which will be delivered to actual customer, so in outbound process only? 

Or in other words only for the packaging materials that will be use to pack the finish material to customer? 

And do we need to maintain NVE number range in /SCWM/SSCC?

Hi Akash,

NVE number is important if you want to trace the HU.
Maybe it also depends on the ERP-EWM integration, as number ranges can be set on ERP side as well.
