Hello,
We are using the fixed bin strategy in the storage type. The storage type is only product managed (HU not allowed).
The requirement is to allow only one product per bin. Is there any standard configuration to have the hard stop.
There is also another requirement to hard stop not allowing two different stock types of same product per bin. Is it a possibility in standard.
Thanks in advance for your contribution.

Hi,
what you are looking for are the settings for "mixed storage". There are several flags and settings in a storage type to control mixed storage behavior - I would propose you check the field documentation (F1 help).
BTW: in most strategies the system never does a mixed storage. With fixed bins it is of course only up to YOU - if you assign several products to the same bin, that is on you (where I have never checked if any of the mixed storage settings in such a case does anything).

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

As Juergen mentioned, in the storage type, you can control one product / multiple batch, one product / one batch or multiple product / multiple batch.
If you would multiple products, you need to setup in storage type level and map multiple product to same storage bin in BINMAT.
For stock type hard stop, sorry I don't recall any standard settings.
