Dear Experts
1) What are the possible root causes of this error?
2) When I click on qRFC Monitor, it doesn't take me anywhere.. spins and stops.3 Why?
Context
A new ECC box is connected to an existing APO box.
Settings for Connectivity and Queue scheduling is maintained to the best of my understanding.
When I go to APO. There are no queues in SMQ1 or 2. Nor in ECC in SMQ1 or SMQ2
Thanks

Hello,
Go to SCM System and in /SAPAPO/CQ find out the Inbound Queues to SCM system.
There can be some other queue stuck inbound to SCM which is causing the problem or CIF set have some issue for SMQS or SMQR.
Please check with your BASIS team to confirm that test data transfer is happening between ECC to APO. Looks like CIF setup in terms of RFC is the issue.

The destination in SM59 was incorrect.. the IP Address.
Thanks Rupesh, you made me look into this.

Neither log not CQ shows anything. That is the mystery
Where do I get to this queue?

ok. its there already. Btw is there an analogy from the animal world to explain the importance of SMQE? 🙂
Btw using CFM3 I see a log.
Job started
Step 001 started (program RIMODAC2, variant &0000000000006, user ID AMITM)
Queue: CFLDXXXCLNT999_9765 Blocked
Tgt System: YYYCLNT888
Function Module: /SAPAPO/CIF_CBASE_INB
Error Text: NOEXEC
Operation terminated due to error (queue CFLDXXXCLNT999_9765, target system YYYCLNT888)
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
I do not see this queue in SMQ1 or CQ or SMQ2.in the target or source system.
How do I find this queue and burn it?
Thanks
Amit

Hi,
In ECC side you need to maintain display program as CIFQEV02 and on SCM side it should be /SAPAPO/CIF_QUEUE_EVENT2
Below KBAs talks about SMQE setup.
1543599 - Switch on the new Queue display in SAP ERP/ECC System
1543724 - Switch on the new Queue display in SCM System

Thanks Abhishek and Rupesh
All settings you mentioned look good. The trouble is this queue cited in NOT seen in APO inbound that is it hinting at. Which can means only one thing.. It is perhaps in some tables that need to be flushed out. AFRFCSTATE? or something like that. I trying running those programs too to delete some entries in this table but they do not get deleted.
Rupesh: CIF is set up all right. But none of the int models are activating. SMQS/R is all good.
Would you know what do I need to do in SMQE? What function module do I need to mention there in APO?

Hello,
Refer below KBAs which might be of help.
2441633 - NOEXEC status queues in Inbound of SCM
2681550 - How to stop the queue (qRFC) for analysis
1892765 - Known scenarios & limitations in tRFC qRFC - SM58 SMQ1 SMQ2
Normally you should be able to see the queues in inbound queues with status NOEXEC status. Have you tried /sapapo/cq?
Check CFC2 settings, if the user is marked for debugging?
Never the less try de-registering and registering the queues again in SMQR.

Abhishek
