No Stock Deficit Error for Backflush Components While Production Order Confirmation CO15

Hello Experts,

We are Working on S4 HANA 1909, We have a Finished Product for which components would be Auto GI (Backflush Indicator maintained in Material Master).

When we confirm production order, A Consumption Outbound Delivery would be generated for Component Consumption and Auto goods issue would be carried out and 261 Goods Movement would be posted.

But Noticed that if there is a deficit in stock for any of the component (Zero Stock) the outbound delivery is still created with out any stock deficit error shown up at the time of production order confirmation and Outbound Delivery is moved to EWM and there is a goods Issue is failure shown up in EWM with Stock Deficit Error.

Somehow not getting an error while carrying out confirmation, I have flagged "Termination for incorrect goods movement" in parameters for order confirmation - OPK4.

Can we have a hard error while confirmation of production order if there is a stock deficit of the component.

Hello Sunny,

In General Practice, Backflush (Auto GI) material movement Errors (Ex. deficit Stock) will get stored in COGI transaction. its a daily/Weekly activity to re-process the failed Errors messages Via t-code COGI or "Reprocess failed Material Movements" fiori app.

Thank you Kumar for reply, There are no COGI errors also, Only the error is shown up while carrying out GI from Warehouse.

Hi Sunny, Did you get any solution to this? I am also stuck in this after our system upgrade. Please revert with answer if you have fixed this.
