No purchase requisition generated with Supersession running MD50/51

Hello Experts,

I was working on Supersession in S4 hana 1610, the problem i am facing is when the material is part of supersession then no purchase requisition is generated while running MD50 or MD51, is there any way to get PR generated.

I already applied OSS note1562786, still no luck please help me out.

The issue you described is very generic and it is pretty hard to support you here. When opening a question, you should try to provide as much information as possible, so that people can help you to resolve the issue. Answering the following questions might give us some additional information to help you to resolve the issue:

1 - Is your material assigned to the sales order special stock?
2 - Does MRP generate a new requisition when you plan using MD02?
3 - Do you find any error message when running MRP for this material?
4 - Did you go through this blog https://blogs.sap.com/2015/11/16/what-can-i-do-if-mrp-does-not-plan-a-material/ ?

Finally, can you please provide a screenshot of the MRP List and from the Stock/Requirements List for your material?

PS: If you are facing a dump in MRP Live, you might want to open a new question for that.

Hi

1. Yes, It's with special stock E

2. Yes, MRP generates PR when we use MD02.

3. No message found which indicates any error.

4. Yes, I went through the mentioned link but seems not applicable.

5. Okay, MRP live is not being used initially it was in use but now everyone is on Classic MRP.

After placing the sales order, the User run MD50 and uses CO46 to see the PR and check if there is any missing. MD50 is working fine when BOM materials are not part of Supersession. when I take them out system is working fine and generating PRs through MD50. Please advise.

Hello,

Multi-level, make-to-order planning (transaction MD50) and Individual project planning (transaction MD51) is not optimized for HANA.

MRP Live on HANA cannot plan materials that are included in supersession chains. In this case, the system also does not automatically plan the material using classic MRP. Use transaction MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC to make sure that the material is planned using classic MRP.

Thank you for your reply, the mentioned note is already implemented regardless when I am running MD01N getting a runtime error.

I checked with the transaction MD_MRP_FORCE_CLASSIC result showing material is not being planned in MRP classic.
