No packaging specification found for VAS Order reg...........

Dear All,

I am using Process Oriented Storage Control with Decon and VAS.

step1: IB01

step2: IB02

step3: VAS1

step4: VAS2

step5: VAS3

step6: IB03-----Final Put away

the following screen short also attached for your refer.......

Here my problem is:- IB01 unload task is ok

                                  IB02 Decon is ok,  after the deconsolidation system has to create VAS1 task (Decon to VAS1) but it is not happening, directly it is going to IB03 final putaway.

2nd problem

I have created packaging specifications and it is active status.

based on the the delivery, system has to create VAS order automatically, but it does not happening

when i created VAS order manually it is working properly.

PACK SPEC screen short also attached for your refer......

So, Please help me what settings has to be done for the same.

Hi Anoop,

I have maintained in vas relevance, delivery type and  item type should be same as

delivery line item details.

Hi Vijay,

Check your VAS relevance config table where you have activated VAS relevance for your warehouse number with Document type and item type combination-you assigned a procedure. Also check at what point of time system is set up to create VAS Order (i.e. WR time or GR posting time). Same document and item types should be getting determined in your Inbound Delivery in EWM.

Then warehouse number dependent settings-what product group type you have used here, same should be assigned to your product master in /SAPAPO/MAT1

Consumption relevance indicator is required for Auxiliary materials, if there are any used in your VAS Pack Spec. Its not mandatory to have the check box checked.

check del type in header data of del and item type in line item details in del line item.

come to vas customization

Check vas relevance and check you have maintain same document type and item type for which you are expecting vas has to create del. in standard  its for different item type than del item type.

Also check in same customization same procedure used and condition type is used in packspec .

Could you please advise me for the POSC settings.

Confirming the IB01 - task, system is automatically created IB02 task in open condition and IB03 task in waiting.

But it should not be happen as per my settings

After deconsolidation it should go to VAS work center.

In this situation what else missing in my settings.

Does you have VAS order in for your IBD ??

Of yes confirm decon and also complete decon activity and check after that for vas activity also at the same time check smq2 if any queue got stuck/

Hi Vijay,

please recheck "vas relevance" settings and product master. if all ok, then check if you have maintained relevant ext. step  in the warehouse tab in VAS packspec.

Consumption relevance VAS should be "flagged"  in general data of product master right.........
