No network connectivity - IBP: Error (Excel)

Hi SAP IBP Experts,

I keep getting this error message and have to close out of IBP and reopen. I am not sure how to fix this issue.

IBP: Error

No network connectivity
Please check the following

1. Ensure that you are connected to a network.
2. Check whether you can open the IBP Fiori launchpad.
3. If completing your action is still not possible, please log off or
disconnect from the IBP Excel add-in and log on again.
4. In some rare cases the issue can be solved by restarting Microsoft Excel (make sure to save all your work before closing Microsoft Excel).
5. In some very rare cases, the issue can be solved by restarting Microsoft Windows.

If these steps did not solve the issue, please contact your system administrator.

Hi Parthi,

I am not sure if you are still struggling with this issue...anyway this error message is pretty intuitive and really has to do with the network in 100% of the cases.

You either are accessing from an instable network/VPN, etc. or perhaps you are using a network for which proxy authentication is defined.

In case of proxy, it is important that you include your IBP Server URL as an exception on the proxy rules to overcome this instability:
