no bins allocated for the storage location

Hi Friends,

I have created a new storage location and tested the same by creating an IBD , but while confirming the WT and assigning the storage Bin , i am not find ing the respective storage sections and bins for the newly created storage location.Like we get for normal storage locations as below:

Hi,

what is STIC? The thing you have created new? That is not a storage location, but a storage type (as it says in the second screen shot). Well, and if you did not create a section and bins, of course nothing can be found.

Yes , STIC is the new location which i have created.Could you please help me to guide on the creation of respective section and bins for the storage type?

Hi Bharti,

Create a stoarge section and assign to storage type STIC in customizing.

SPRO>IMG>EWM>Master data>storage section

Bin you can define - /SCWM/LS01.... you can give the bin name and add the storage type STIC and storage section.

Hi Raj,

If STIC is the storage type you created, then you can create the storage sections in SPRO.

Bins can be created with /scwm/ls01 there you can assign storage section & type to it.

As per your suggestion i have created the same but there the error pops up:;

When i maintain above storage section and bin for the created STIC storage type, i get the below screen in error window:
