Hi team
How to configure new stock type to involve restricted and block batches but we want to consider new stock type in MRP run and to be considered in stock reports. Kindly guide.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello
Your requirement seems to be a bit confusing to me, but I suggest you to take a look into the customizing transaction OPPI, where you can define which types of stocks are available to MRP.
As already mentioned by Dominik, you cannot create your own stock type, but you can use a BAdI to add your own logic into MRP and decide if part of your stock will be available for MRP or not. Take a look into this blog for more detais: https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-blogs-by-sap/sap-s-4hana-2022-new-badi-to-...

Hello @rammeshokumar
I don't think you can customize new stock types in ERP.

Hello @rammeshokumar
But what is really the problem? Can you describe your business requirements?
Cheers

Hello @rammeshokumar
Have you considered Batch Status Management? That effectively introduces a new stock type "restricted use stock". This stock type can be made available in ATP and MRP.
