Net change planning in IBP Heuristic and optimizer

Hello,

We have been using APO for many years and while we were overall very satisfied with the product, net change planning looked to work less powerful compared to MRP in ECC.

How does IBP manage net change planning in the different supply planning solutions (heuristic, order-based planning and optimizer)?

Hi Adam,

In IBP we have a way to firm planning horizon in which no plan is changed. Apart from that, there is no concept of net change. If you change any parameter like Safety Stock or associated cost it will generate new plan.
