Need to write a macro to get a field value from Product master in SNP

Hi Expert,

I need to write a macro for getting values of VMI purchasing group SNP 2 tab  from product master for active product location.

This has to be write for SAP  3.0 version.

Can anybody help on this.

Hi Jeet

Check below doc, I hope you have MATLOC function in version 3.0. Cross check and let me know whether it resolved your issue.

If yes follow else raise your concern.

Did you put this under event, example default event?

Are you checking data at detail level that is product & location combination?

At least is working very well for me for same field.

Hi Rahul,

Yes this is there under Default, Start and Directly executed macro.

Then i removed from start and default and just kept in directly executed. ran the macro manually but i don't know why values are not coming.

Jeet,

Let's keep it simple:

• Keep the macro under default event.
• Check in material master whether value is available or not in APO. If not put the value in product master for this location and save it.
• Go to planning book, select this material number along with location.
• Share your results, if possible share screen shots if it doesn't work.
