Hello Everyone,
Our client doesn't manage any of their stock physically but they have outsourced 3PL that will store the stock for them. I was wondering if there would be any use cases where we can still leverage EWM in this scenario. One of the use cases I can think of is Wareouse billing (please correct me if worng). Need your inputs on this to make a decission to go with EWM or not in this scenario.
Note: TM is part of the implementation scope.
Thanks
Stalin

Hello estalin7,
Please refer below SAP Blog and thread to understand the concept and functionality of 3PL with EWM.

Hello Neeraj,
Thanks for your reply. I have already gone through both these posts and below are my respective observations:
The blog speaks about implementing the EWM for a 3PL provider(who actually owns/operates the warehouses). However, in our case, the client is not a 3PL provider but outsourcing the warehouses from a 3PL provider.
Regarding the second post, they wanted to use EWM as they had a physical storage of 600 bins on-site that they were owning/operating in their manufacturing location.
So to summarize, in our case, the client neither owns nor operates the warehouses but getting the warehousing services from 3PL.
Please let me know if you need more information.
