Need Start Depreciation in the Current Month

Two Questions:

Question 1: How do you change depreciation start date from Following month to Current month in SAP? Ex. Depreciation Start Date is 01.01.2023 and depreciation is starting on 02.01.2023 and we need it to start in the month of January.

Question 2: How do I fix assets that are already depreciating in the following month to reflect the actual month of depreciation? Ex. Depreciation Start Date is 01.01.2023 and depreciation is starting on 02.01.2023 and we need it be corrected so depreciation can start on 01.01.2023 and not 02.01.2023. Will I have to perform a manual transaction and if so, how do I perform this transaction?
