Multiple Purchase requisition in make to order scenario

Hello Everyone,

We are having a MTO scenario, and Planned orers are generated for FERT in APO.We are doing HALB and ROH planning in APOas well.

When dependant demand reaches ROH, for every demand we get separate Purchase requistion even though lot size is periodic (weekly or monthly).

We want all demands at ROH level in a month to be procured under one PR.

Is this possible through APO for make to order scenario. I know it works fine for MTS.

Also, if we plan ROH in R/3 for MTO can we do it by using collective indicator as 2 in R/3?

Hello Ayan,

Its checked already. In demand tab, I have checked collective requirements as well.

The sales order that we get from R/3 are coming as individual requirements and PR is forming one by one against them.

We want a single PR for all of them.

Have you enabled fixed / dynamic pegging for this scenario ?

Yes dynamic pegging is working, we are trying to combine it in R/3 now.

when pegging is enabled, each demand element will be mapped to a respective supply element. It is a 1 to 1 or 1 to many mapping. Hence I dont think you can club the PREQ, since clubbing will nullify the importance of pegging itself

Assuming that all the lot size parameters (Strategy, period type & no of periods) are maintained properly, please check the following

In APO using /SAPAPO/MAT1 Goto the lot size tab. Under the lot size tab goto Procedure subtab and check if the field "Lot Size Always" has been checked or not.

If not then check it and take a run to verify the results
