Multiple ERP with IBP

Hi

Is it possible to connect more than one ERP with IBP ? Is it possible to build our own logic / enahancements within IBP as we do today in ECC / APO applications ?

IBP will have some functionality from APO and additional but not replacement of all functionality .

As I said IBP will response and supply its on road map to have multiple ERP integrated using SDI

IBP inventory is time series - please refer my previous response with CPI-DS

IBP user don't have access for backend /ABAP neither needed . Additional IBP functionally to include more features .Please refer to IBP road map and please read IBP help to understand more will be helpful

Hi Anil.

I checked the IBP roadmap, unfortunately iam not able to find information on the future roadmap on connecting multiple ERP to IBP. Do you any info on when this will be available like Q32019 or later ?

From application help, what i understand is to connect ERP to IBP we need SDI. Is it possible to introduce customer specific code in the inbound / outbound data from IBP > ECC or vice versa ? If yes, which programming language is supported here ABAP or a any different programming language ?

can you please help me understand on the above questions ?

Yes its on raod map multiple ERP tp IBP using SDI . I cannot comment on date when exact future roadmap this will do done as release plan is submit to change product management can answer better . Do you customer asking this question tell then to get in touch with SAP

Yes ERP side there is IDOC and some enhancement you can do to push data in IBP. Ni changes from IBP allowed for data to be sent to ERP it will be optimized by functionality

I hope rest of your question is more of reading SDI and documentation . If you are working with customer tell them to connect with SAP

It depends on what IBP application

for time series .. you can define the cpi-ds Source data store as different ERP system . you need to careful what you trying to attempt ..is it different planning area etc This should be clear to understand how you differentiate

IBP response order based - currently as I understand SDI can now integrate with one S4/ERP its on future plan to include 2 ERP/S4

Hi Anil,

With SCM , its possible to integrate multiple ECC with using different BSG. Is the same functionality possible with IBP Response & Supply or with IBP for inventory ?

One other question, within APO using ABAP we have the flexibility to modify the system behaviour in APO outbound / inbound or withing the APO Planning functionalities. Do we have the same flexibility within IBP applications ?
