Hi,
Is there a way in the standard Collections Mgmt (S/4 2020) to assign to one Customer multiple Collection Segments in the same Company Code by Sales Area? (Something similar like multiple Dunning Areas can be assigned to Sales Areas within the same Company Code.)
As I understand it, one Customer master can only have one Collections Profile. I can assign multiple Collection Segments to the Collections Profile, but only if these Collection Segments are assigned to different Company Codes.
In the end, if we have multiple Collection Groups for different Sales Areas within the same Company Code, we will need multiple Customer master records, which is exactly against the SAP philosophy of shared Customers.
Please, let me know if I have missed something, if there is a way to achieve what I described above.
Thank you!

Hi Akhil,
thank you for your reply. However, that is the whole issue, your suggestion does not work: if I assign two Collection Segments to the same Company Code, and then I try to assign these two Collection Segments to one Collection Profile, I get the following message:

So I cannot really have multiple Collection Segments for the same Company Code in one Customer.
Am I missing something here? Please, let me know. Thank you!

Hi,
You can create one collection profile. Under that collection profile, create multiple segments based on sales area and assign those segments to the same company code. For different segments you can create different collection groups and colection specialists.
Hope this helps.
