Our Freight rates are negotiated in such a manner that from Zone A to Zone B there could be two example Means of Transport MTR1 and MTR2. Each of these Means of Transports has a single and unique carrier . Meaning MTR1 is provided by Carrier1 and MTR2 is provided by Carrier 2 . This way we created two lanes for the two means of transport .
Now , a Freight Unit is planned with MTR1 ( because of the weight, volume and other VSR constraints and rules ) . A tender is issued to Carrier 1 for MTR1, but Carrier1 rejects the tender. We would like to do re-carrier selection and the optimizer to take into consideration the next compatible MTR i.e. MTR2 and send a tender to Carrier 2. How can this be achieved.
